Our Story

Hi, I'm Charlotte, the founder of Caltopia Scents, based in the heart of Ennis, Co Clare, Ireland.

Caltopia Scents was born from a simple but powerful belief - that everyone deserves to experience the joy of beautiful fragrance in their home. But I also believe that the way things have always been done isn't necessarily the only way.

Traditional candles are wonderful, but they come with trade-offs: open flames, soot, wax that burns away too quickly, and ingredients that aren't always kind to the planet. I wanted to explore a different path.

So I set out on a journey - to discover how many ways I could bring scent into your home without harming the world around us. That journey led me to wickless candles, wax melts, Scoopies, and candle warmer lamps. Products that fill your space with fragrance gently, safely, and sustainably. And perhaps it was always in my blood - my mother's family name is Chandler, and a chandler, after all, is a maker of candles.

We're not perfect, and we know it. But we're committed to constantly reviewing and improving our products - for the planet and for the people using them. Whether that means sourcing better ingredients, reducing waste, or finding new ways to bring fragrance into your life more sustainably, we'll always be working to do better.
